♥Drive 60 miles an hour on the freeway and watch my miles per gallon increase 15% and
always obey the speed limit, no matter how many dirty looks I get.
♥Have the best looking lawn on the block.
♥Button my shirts at the neck if I want.
♥Wear a watch cap around the house if my head is cold.
♥Call my friends “Old Timer.”
♥Laugh loudly at my own jokes.
♥Speak to strangers just to see what happens.
♥Wander around hardware stores looking at stuff for hours.
♥Shave only on occasion.
♥Read as much of the paper as I want.
♥Tell outrageous lies about myself to my granddaughters.

I'm fast approaching that milestone, coming up on December 6.
I live a life of happy serendipity with my best friend Patsy, who has beaten the final curtain twice. We found each other in cyberspace and have known each other for 12 years; we've lived together for the past 4.
Each morning I'm presented a smile and if I don't catch it my day passes more slowly.
We will live fully while we can; she requires a motorized wheelchair which I dutifully put in the back of the car on trips to places like yesterday, to Huntington Beach. We revelled in the beautiful light and joyful sights. I photographed a beautiful little girl and her parents and later was rewarded with a fantastic sunset and capture of a dolphin jumping clear out of the water.

On the last day of July we took advantage of senior day and went to the Orange County Fair.
We progress and thrive, and are happy to be alive to visit blogs like yours.
