The snow has finally almost all melted at our house. The snowplow came thru on Friday night and threw a couple of feet of slush on the end of our driveway.
E and I spent most of two weeks snowbound for the most part. Watched movies. Read books. Fixed meals. It's not so hard when you're retired and sedentary. We managed to slide and spin our way to the store a couple of times for supplies--one of the most important was food for the birds, squirrels, and raccoons who say they are counting on us to keep them fed.
We put our travel plans on hold and were disappointed to miss a concert and a play the weekend before Christmas. For some reason, we became news junkies. What was going on out there in the snowy town, the snowy state, the snowy country? Now we will go back to every day, rainy life in our suburb of Seattle. We were getting tired of movies and news, anyhow. Perhaps we'll get back to taking regular walks.

I enjoyed reading about you and your wife feeding the birds and racoons.
Thank you! I enjoyed your blog, too. I read all the postings that were on your first page.
